CyrusOne Sr. Financial Analyst in Dallas, Texas
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key business partner to leaders in the organization and will report to the Senior Director of Finance. The position liaisons with department leadership and the executive team to provide financial oversight and operational input related to financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Provide timely and accurate analysis of results and forecasts: Gather necessary information from existing processes to develop/update monthly forecasts. Use clear analysis to explain variation to the forecast vs the prior forecast and the annual plan. Develop and implement corrective actions where required.
Business Line Support: Support lines of business within the organization; provide insights into financial performance of the businesses, engage with partners to develop business cases and ROI/ROA analyses to support large initiatives, and track performance against approved plans.
Annual Budget: Manage the annual budgeting process for supported businesses.
Finance Support: Support the preparation of Quarterly Board of Director presentations and monthly operations presentations, and other duties as required.
Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas.
Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned functional areas:
Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.
Responsible for the preparation and analysis of the periodic management reporting of financial results for assigned functional areas:
Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements packages as may be required.
Special Projects to improve process efficiency and performance or as defined by role/manager.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite)
Advanced user of excel
Knowledge of data centers and/or REITs is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Yardi and/or OneStream software a plus
Able to balance work schedule and responsibilities, role will likely require work outside normal business hours
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
Ability to travel (expected to be less than 10%)
Experience/Skills: Minimum 5 years in a similar Finance position
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- MBA/CPA is a plus
