CyrusOne Senior Financial Analyst in Dallas, Texas

The Senior Commercial Financial Analyst is a key position reporting to the Director of Strategic Pricing. The position liaisons with key internal stakeholders to maximize revenue, cash flow and our return on investment. The successful incumbent can balance the urgency demanded by customers and internal stakeholders by having a solid understanding of key economic parameters and strong work ethic.

Job Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Sale Reporting Package: Deliver timely and accurate monthly and quarterly sales metrics in a standard reporting package, forecasting, budgeting and 5 year planning. The detailed Sales reporting package is used by several internal stakeholders to assess the underlying business performance vs expectations. External information such as # of Kilowatts (KW) sold, # new customers logos, Backlog, etc., must be accurately reported and aligned with tight deadlines. The information provides insights to the strength future opportunities, is required to develop the reliable revenue forecasts.

  • Provide timely and accurate revenue and forecast: Gather necessary information from existing processes to develop/update the detailed monthly forecast by fiscal day 6 each reporting period. Use clear analysis to explain variation to the revenue forecast vs the prior forecast and the annual plan.

  • Deal/Pricing analytics: Collaboration with sales, finance leadership and customers, as necessary, is a key aspect of the role. Review potential contracts to ensure new deals achieve our financial goals and seek approval when opportunities fail to meet certain economic criteria. Use financial/business acumen and professional engagement to create optionality for customers and create a win-win. Work closely with construction and other operational leaders to understand the current inventory positions and support the business case process to add inventory as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence and process improvement.

  • Detail oriented, ability to read and understand contracts.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with individuals at various levels

  • Flexible and adaptable leadership that is calm under tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

  • Environment requires working outside a 40-50-hour work week to meet certain business opportunities and internal deadlines. Travel expected to be less than 20%.

  • Highly proficient user of Excel. Proficiency with PowerPoint and other MS office products.

  • Experience with Yardi, Sales Force, and/or OneStream software is a plus


  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar commercial finance position with a knowledge of the data center and/or REITs is a plus.

  • BS Degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Economics. MBA/CPA is a plus
