The Senior Business and Data Analyst is primarily responsible for overseeing and supporting the reporting requirements of our organization and coordinating handoffs between business partners and IT. This role will work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups within technology and the business, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Essential Functions :

• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT organizations.

• Elicit and document reporting requirements.

• Lead and mentor resources to gather solution requirements.

• Perform data analysis – identifying trends and key drivers of metrics.

• Leverage requirements to ensure designed/developed solution meets the needs of the business sponsors.

• Provide input to BI development team on requirements and enhancements to existing data sets and reporting infrastructure.

• Ensure adequate testing is completed during QA test and UAT and data reconciles.

• Create and conduct training for new BI functionality.

• Advocate for improved business user experience, BI usage, and drive user-adoption

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years in Business Analysis and BI domain

• Good understanding of data sources, data warehouses and marts and reporting platforms

• Experienced in being trusted advisor to client executives and stakeholders, suggesting alternate tools and techniques to solve complex and ambiguous requirements.

• Distinctive strategic and analytical capabilities

• Exposure to Salesforce, Yardi,

• Exposure to Data Center / Infrastructure domains would be a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Business, Finance, Education, Engineering, Information Systems, Technical, Information Technology.

Physical and mental requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work

Work environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
