CyrusOne Renewal Account Manager in Dallas, Texas

The Renewal Account Manager is responsible for assuring renewals of orders are completed with approved markups and new terms.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop the customer relationship to facilitate long term commitment, upselling additional core products and services

  • Focus on Account Revenue Growth

  • Forecast potential churn

  • Exceed churn forecast

  • Decrease churn by increasing commitment to additional contracted services– space, power, connectivity, expansion to another facility, enhanced services, smart and remote hands

  • Engage BDMs and Account Managers to help secure renewals

  • Development of management reports

  • Complete Win Plan strategy for top customer renewals

  • Ownership of process to either convert month-to-month contracts to term and/or communicate and process standard % increase

  • Drive renewals

  • Retain and protect MRC

  • 100% accuracy of Sales Force data

  • Proactive help to manage available sf/KW

  • Sell Enhanced Services to existing base as a value-add for a reduction in service

  • Establish communication with customers to review pricing and terms

  • Obtain necessary management approvals for pricing, terms, etc.

  • Manage the contracting cycle

  • Drive at least one process improvement idea

  • Complete defined training certifications Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain long-term customer relationships

  • Ability to maintain required pricing for CyrusOne

  • Ability to handle customer objections

  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Strong knowledge of the IT industry

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be self-managed and a self-starter Experience/Skills : This position requires 4+ years selling services to high level customer management. Prefers proven successful sales record in an IT consulting sales environment, requires previous experience using conceptual selling skills and has a proven track record of achieving quotas Education: This position requires Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (equivalent work-related experience may be substituted for degree) Physical and mental requirements: Must be available for business travel as needed. Work Environment: The work environment is an office setting with moderate office noise.
